“Wonderful local bar with excellent craft cocktails. Great prices. Plenty of beverage options at all different prices. Great staff. Fantastic owner. Fun time for football, live music, or just a regular stop. Casual yet refined. No food, but you can bring things in.”

Good to know
Everything you need for your first visit
New to Beaufort Bar? Here are the questions we get most — so you can walk in already knowing the place.
- I've never been to Beaufort Bar — will I feel comfortable?
- That's the whole idea. Beaufort Bar is built to have something for everybody — dressed up or dressed down, a craft cocktail or a cold beer. It's a clean, comfortable, easygoing room where locals, folks off their restaurant and hotel shifts, and visitors all mix. Come as you are and grab a stool.
- Where is Beaufort Bar?
- Beaufort Bar is at 410 Live Oak St, Suite A, Beaufort, NC 28516 — a few blocks up from the historic waterfront on Live Oak St. We're the local spot just off the tourist strip, so you don't have to fight the waterfront crowds.
- Is there parking?
- Yes — there's on-site parking in our lot, plus street parking right out front on Live Oak St. Easy to pull right up.
- Is Beaufort Bar wheelchair accessible?
- Yes — the entrance is step-free, so everyone can get in and out easily.
- What are your hours?
- We're open Wednesday through Sunday: Wednesday 5pm–midnight, Thursday and Friday 5pm–2am, Saturday noon–2am, and Sunday noon–midnight. We're closed Monday and Tuesday.
- Do I need a reservation?
- Nope — just walk in. Weekend nights with live music and the big matches fill up fast, so come a little early if you want a good seat.
- Do you serve food? Can I bring my own?
- We don't serve food, but you're welcome — encouraged, even — to bring it in. No Name Pizza is right next door, and Beaufort Cafe, Beach Bowls, and Historic Grounds Coffee are all a short walk. Grab something, bring it in, and we'll grab you a stool.
- What do you have to drink?
- Something for everybody — craft cocktails, cold beer, and a serious bourbon selection. Our fresh-squeezed Orange Crush and the espresso martini are the house favorites.
- How can I pay?
- We take cash, card, and tap to pay — whatever's easiest for you.
- Is Beaufort Bar family-friendly? Can I bring my kids?
- Yes — during the day and early evening, Beaufort Bar is family-friendly and dog-friendly. On Friday and Saturday nights it gets busy and turns into more of a grown-up crowd, so daytime and early evening are the best windows to bring the kids.
- Can I bring my dog?
- Absolutely — we're dog-friendly during the day and early evening. Bring your buddy along.
- Is there outdoor seating?
- Yes — there's a patio to post up outside when the weather's nice.
- Is there live music?
- Every Friday and Saturday night, year-round. Live bands are a staple here — it's a real music room, not background noise.
- Can I watch soccer and the matches here?
- Yes — Beaufort Bar is the soccer spot on the Crystal Coast. We show every match this summer on the screens, sound up for the big ones, with USA watch parties and free swag every time the USMNT plays, and we carry it right into the Premier League season. Any game, all clubs welcome.
- What else is going on during the week?
- Trivia every Thursday, a dart tournament every other Sunday, and shuffleboard monthly — plus charity cook-offs, oyster roasts, and fish fries through the year. Check the Events page for what's coming up.
- What's the vibe like?
- Clean, comfortable, and local — sports-spot energy without being a loud sports bar. We sweat the small stuff (you'll notice how clean it is), which is a big part of why it's a place everyone feels good walking into.
